Green bee-eater in Bangalore

Green bee-eater is small bird that feeds on bees on and flies. This bird almost looks like parrot with small size. But biologically these species are far from parrots.

In the  below picture three green bee-eaters sitting on a tree, The middle one is busy in eating a fly.

Green bee-eater in the below picture is able to find some dragon fly while the other one is still searching for its prey.
Beauty of these birds is that, they can adjust their wings during flight to catch fast moving bees.
